Since George Scott’s earliest days with a training licence, he identified the financial
opportunities and huge excitement that could be offered by campaigning horses
overseas. British racing has the heritage and can boast a series of globally-renowned
festivals, but there are so many brilliant international race meetings that can also be
targeted.
In 2024, Eve Lodge enjoyed high-profile and lucrative triumphs in Bahrain, Ireland and
Germany. Over the next 12 months, George will again be looking at the overseas
programme book with Eve Lodge teams bound for Bahrain and Dubai in the early
months of the year.
George says: “​I’m extremely proud of our success abroad – and I don’t put it down to
luck. An enormous amount of credit must go to my team, who leave no stone unturned.
We plan weeks, sometimes months, ahead to prepare for an intended target. I’m looking
forward to our next adventures abroad and will continue to travel the right horses all
around the world.”
